What is a Brazilian wax?
A Brazilian wax removes all or most of the hair from the bikini area, including the front, labia, and butt strip. At Beaute Waxing Studio, I use professional hard wax designed for sensitive skin to give you the smoothest results with minimal irritation.
How long does a Brazilian wax take?
Most Brazilian wax appointments take 12–15 minutes.
First-time clients may take 15–20 minutes so we have time to go over your skin, answer questions, and review aftercare.
Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but most clients say it’s much easier than they expected. I use high-quality wax and a fast, precise technique to make the process as comfortable as possible.
Many clients say the first wax is the most uncomfortable, and it becomes much easier with regular waxing.
How long should my hair be before waxing?
Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice (about ¼ inch).
If the hair is too short, the wax cannot grip it properly. If it’s too long, I can trim it before the service.
How long do Brazilian wax results last?
Results typically last 3–4 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle.

How should I prepare for my Brazilian wax?
Before your appointment:
• Gently exfoliate the area 24 hours before
• Avoid shaving for 2–3 weeks prior
• Wear comfortable clothing
• Avoid lotions or oils on the area the day of your appointment
What should I avoid after waxing?
For the first 24–48 hours, avoid:
• Hot tubs or saunas
• Intense workouts
• Tight clothing
• Sexual activity
• Excess sweating
This helps prevent irritation and ingrown hairs.
How do I prevent ingrown hairs?
Proper aftercare is key. I recommend:
• Gentle exfoliation 2–3 times per week
• Using ingrown hair treatments or oils
• Keeping the skin hydrated
I also carry professional aftercare products in studio to help keep your skin smooth.
Can I get waxed while on my period?
Yes, you can still get waxed during your cycle. Just wear a tampon or menstrual cup to your appointment. Keep in mind the area may be more sensitive during this time.
